Women Composers' Festival: Schedule
Friday, Nov. 17th:
8:00 AM, Jenson 125: Sophomore Music Theory Class (MUS 31 A)

Dr. Miksch will present her music and aid students with their in-class composition projects.
2:30 PM, Noble: Twentieth-century Music History Class (MUS 44)
Dr. Miksch will lecture on electronic music in the 20th century.
5:30 PM, Rm 123: Composition Masterclass with Luther Students
Student composers will present their compositions and discuss them with Dr. Miksch, Dr. Flory, Kirstina Rasmussen, and each other.
7:00 PM: Dinner with Dr. Miksch, Ms. Rasmussen, Students, and Faculty
Saturday, Nov. 18th:
10:00 AM, Noble: Keynote Lecture: "The Personal and the Political: Computer Music by American Women Composers"
Dr. Miksch will present and discuss the music of Pauline Oliversos, Frances White, Anna Rubin, Mara Helmuth, and Bonnie Miksch.
11:30 AM: Reception with Dr. Miksch, Ms. Rasmussen, Students, and Faculty
2:00 PM, JRH: Concert: Women Composers's Festival Concert
Students, faculty, and the Luther College Collegium Musicum will perform music by women composers, including compositions by Dr. Miksch, Kirstina Rassmussen (on faculty), and others discussed in the earlier lecture.
